Questionnaire
Welcome to A Night at Club Ivory. We're taking a trip back in time to spend an evening of music, glitz, oil, Mobsters, dreams, mystery, money, movies, a pinch of the forbidden, hopefully not another dead body, and a double shot of noir. We've assembled some of our favorite classic noir tropes, twisted them about a bit, and hope you'll enjoy what came out.
In order for us mooks at Ivory Fade Productions to properly fit you for the right character, and not the ones with cement overshoes, we need you'se to fill out this simple casting questionnaire. Got it?
Unfortunately, we ain't all fancy pants with online surveys and modern things. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard it over and over again. Maybe next year. Until then, copy this part of the text into your editor, make with the edits, and then mail it back. Got it?
Thank you for signing up.

- I'll help you move the body.
- Here's the bleach, but I'm not going to help you with all that blood.
- I just try to keep my nose clean.
- I only had a few drinks during Prohibition.
- I hated having to fink on my Uncle Harry and his still.
- I'll have you booked and in a cell before you know who hit you.
- I'm a member in good standing of the Temperance League.
- I'm untouchable, a G-man to the core.
WHAT NOIR TROPES ARE YOU COMFORTABLE PLAYING
As this game takes place in a classic noir setting in the thirties, there may be some offensive things to some folks in the character backgrounds. There may be things you don't want to play in this game. There may also be things you really want to play.
Please mark any of the potential offensive, difficult, or annoying subjects you'd like to avoid, if possible, with an X.
Please mark any of the things you'd like to play with a scale from 1 ("Please, please give me this") to 5 ("Only if I really have to, but it's just above X.")
It may be difficult to impossible to avoid these potential plots. The more you mark with an X, the harder it will be for us to find you a safe spot in the game. If you're concerned, send us an email as soon as possible, so we can talk through the potential conflicts. In any case, we'll get back to you to discuss the list if we think it's going to be a problem.

There's a stiff on your doorstep. And the toe tag has your name on it. What are you going do?
THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION
Is there anything else you want to tell us? Tell us what we need to know so that you'll have a good time in the game - those important things that we didn't ask about.
