Game History
The NELCO Playtest, Chelmsford: July 20th, 2014
The inaugural run, after 22 hours of plotting and writing. We almost don't get off the ground because two signups dropped out and left the conference before the playtest. Fortunately, we find two wonderful people who can fill in the spots at the last minute. We start later than planned, but we start, with all of our slots filled. The players dive right into their characters, and really good things happen.
Bart Simpson and Lucy talk while Margaret puts her head down. The art supplies are on the table, but it isn't time for art yet. That means that the posters of Glorious Leader and Borscht remain pristine on the wall. That won't last long.
It's after art and there's plotting afoot. Susie, Alvin, Margaret, and Lisa are clearly up to something.
Everyone is to be eating borscht! It is yummy, from Boris' own recipe!

Time Bubble 2014, RPI: September 28th, 2014
Theresa, one of the authors, and Stephen, who played the initial run, bid the game for Time Bubble at RPI. Theresa put together a questionnaire, wonderfully phrased, and the cast filled. Once again, players loved the game, plotting incredible plots to escape the gulag. It was better than Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs!
There was great feedback from the game as well, which encouraged yet another run to follow...

Intercon O, Chelmsford: March 1, 2015
This run had enough lead time to get costuming in place, and more detailed arts and crafts materials, as seen in the picture. It's really amazing what has come out of three runs of the game when we put art supplies in the hands of our players.
The game filled quickly, with a clever and creative cast ready to do battle with Boris and the gulag goons. There was more great feedback about the game, which is always great to hear.
