About Your Crew!
Here are some of the crewmembers you might meet on your voyage aboard Imagineerium's™ newest and greatest luxury starliner. They are listed in order of rank, from the Captain on down. Each and every one of them will be more than happy to see to all of your travel needs, no matter how trivial. Your satisfaction comes first with Imagineerium™!
-
Captain Irwin Allen: Captain Allen is everything you could want in a starship captain. Cool under pressure, well-organized, and charismatic at social events, Irwin's every look, thought and action is in the classic mode of starship command. Irwin worked up to this post through hard work and determination without sinking to pettiness.
-
First Officer Commander Sam Zarkoff: If Captain Allen is the yin of command, then Commander Zarkoff is the yang of action. Whether leading EVA missions or interacting with subordinates, Zarkoff is the ultimate officer. While Sam's record supposedly contains some black marks from an inappropriate dalliance or two, Sam has made up for it with bravery and sheer guts in the face of danger. Sam's expected to land a captain's post within the next few years. Until then, however, Sam's getting the job done, no matter what job that is.
-
Chief Engineer Lieutenant Jimmy Cameron: Lieutenant Cameron is quite the sociable fellow. When he's not on duty, he's known to show up at the officers' club for a hand or two of poker (or whatever new game is in vogue). He's a family man, with a wife and two kids waiting for him at home. He became chief engineer after a string of important but dull assignments, mostly involving writing new computer code for Imagineerium™'s maintenance machines. In his spare time on leave, Lieutenant Cameron scours the Imagineerium™ recycling center for spare parts, to construct cruisers for the for the inter-departmental scrap heap pod racing competitions. With his natural talents and never-say-die attitude, he's finally in charge of his own department.
-
Chief Doctor Lieutenant Edward van Gelder: Dr. van Gelder (or, as his friends call him, "Geddy") comes from a Reginese aristocratic family. Though he could have lived a life of luxury, Dr. van Gelder decided he should go into medicine. For some reason, he doesn't mention why, or much about his past in general. However, he is a competent, if gruff, doctor. He is supported by a crack medical staff.
-
Ship's Counselor Jamie Capreese: Counselor Capreese came to Imagineerium™ after working in the school systems of New Vargas. Jamie helps both crew and guests deal with stressful situations. Jamie is curious about the thought process and how people make decisions, sometimes informally chatting with officers about various situations they've had to deal with.
-
Safety Officer Dawson Goritz: Officer Goritz is very dedicated to the job. Dawson's made personal inspections of every part of the ship to make absolutely sure there are no safety hazards on board. Those who've dealt with Dawson's inspections say Dawson is more than a little intense about it. While that judgement may be harsh, it is a demanding job. Space travel and Imagineerium™ management allow little room for error. Dawson doesn't socialize much with the rest of the crew.
-
Doctor Ferris Rokar: Dr. Ferris (his family name comes first) is third in the ship's medical chain of command. Rokar deals with guests' complaints (mostly along the lines of hangovers and minor colds). While efficient, Dr. Ferris sometimes works too long and too hard. When not working, Rokar tends to walk the ship. It's not uncommon to see the good doctor on the Leo Deck, especially late at night.
-
Protocol Officer Kinara von Yorik: This is Kinara's first voyage with Imagineerium™. While she may have started out green, she has quickly ripened by dealing with guests and the infomedia. She is friendly, perky and often seen in the company of Ship's Steward Euripides Nomen.
-
Cargo Officer Lonnie Parsoni: Lonnie Parsoni is all business. If you need something done with your luggage, Lonnie will get it done, but don't expect to get to know what's going on in Lonnie's head. Lonnie is career-minded and on the fast-track.
-
Maintenance Manager Dell Romanaf: Dell Romanaf is a stickler for detail. Dell has to be, dealing with the facilities and all. Dell keeps a notebook handy to write down anything that needs taking care of. While Dell isn't overly popular with the crew, there's no denying that the restrooms have run smoothly all voyage.
-
Steward Euripides Nomen: The ship's steward is a friendly young man, full of promise and potential. He's worked at Imagineerium™ for a couple of years and will probably make a name for himself as soon as he gets some more experience. He's often seen in the company of Protocol Officer Kinara von Yorik.
-
Maintenance Technician Wynn Scott: One of the maintenance staff who reports to Dell Romanaf, Wynn is a fairly average kind of person who has done nothing of note, either good or bad. Still, Wynn is personable, if unexemplary.
