I hope that you enjoy The Treaty of Berlin as much as I have. This scenario was designed in the spring of 1987 by Anton Chernoff, Jill Poland and myself. I wrote the text based on our plotting in a four month span. Updates and edits have been made before and after the various runs of the game.
Several others were instrumental in its completion. I'd like to thank Roberta Berry for "providing" the murder weapon. Much of the introductory murder mystery rules and suggestions are based on material developed by Roberta and 'The Usual Suspects' murder mystery players. I'd also like to thank Charlie McCutcheon, who single-handedly turned the Mannheim Mayhem Squad into a gang of terrorists to be concerned about. Charlie also provided some of the wonderful background material for T.R. Williams. Finally, I'd like to thank the people who participated in runnings of the scenario with us. They made The Treaty of Berlin memorable for me.
The characters in this scenario are purely the result of my warped imagination. Any likeness to anyone you know, living or dead, or to any event is purely a coincidence.
